I can see however where there would be confusion between the two as both have negative connotations and both describe displeasing sounds. The only thing that upsets me is when I cant explain to people that, yes I DO listen to dubstep, but NO its not what you think it is.
If you tried my dubstep, my garage or my drum and bass then you would probably like it, or at least you would stop saying that its noisy shit and realise that, there is something to understand in real dubstep. Falc1NL first parts right but your wrong about skrillex he cuts across alot of genders one of them being dubstep, but yes he also does alot of house and electro which i actually prefer.
